Sandvik Coromant is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Xu Peiyao as General Manager of Sales for China, effective August 1, 2026. Mr. Xu will report directly to the Vice President of Global Sales and join the global sales management team. He will assume full responsibility for sales operations, strategic market planning, customer partnership development, and the implementation of cutting technology solutions within China. This key appointment underscores the Sandvik Group's strong commitment to the Chinese market; it will further solidify Sandvik Coromant's leadership in the domestic metal cutting sector and facilitate the steady execution of the Group's 2030 growth strategy.
Mr. Xu has a long-standing history with Sandvik Coromant, having previously served the company from 2006 to 2016. After leaving, he continued to build his expertise in high-end manufacturing, holding various senior management positions at the CERATIZIT Group. Prior to this new appointment, he served as the Head of Asia-Pacific and General Manager for China at the international manufacturing group LMT. His extensive career has equipped him with mature experience in strategic planning for the Asia-Pacific market, team management, and key account operations, combining deep industry knowledge across the entire metal cutting value chain with a global management perspective.
